I've downloaded Dawkins' material before, and yesterday I purchased 'The Selfish Gene' at the local bookstore.
Don't feel guilty about downloading freely when it enriches you, as long as you can support the authors financially when the opportunity avails itself. :)
Not everyone agrees with that concept, but it's better than people taking and never giving back.

I got to know Dawkins' works thanks to The Pirate Bay. And after downloading many of his books, I decided to buy his original, The God Delusion, El Gen Egoísta and Climbing Mount Improbable.

Oh yes I agree, although the man is minted, I have all his books on my shelf. I only use the electronic versions for cutting and pasting references from them when needed.
